Last month, American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth released “Done For Me” from his upcoming sophomore album "Voicenotes". The Music video for it was premiered on April 21, directed by RJ Sanchez & Brendan Vaughan.
Before the music video releasing, he appeared on Sounds Like Friday Night of BBC, where he performed the song with piano.
Original version features American singer Kehlani, but on BBC, she did not appear.
The song was written by Charlie Puth, Kehlani Ashley Parrish, Jacob Kasher and John Ryan. It is a pop and R&B song with warm synthesizers reminiscent of classic '80s pop. According to Puth, "no pop chords in the song but it's a pop song".
