Benny Blanco & Calvin Harris Premiere New Song “I Found You”
American producer Benny Blanco and Scottish DJ Calvin Harris teamed up and released a new song “I Found You”.
Calvin Harris showcased as vocals on the song. In the past, he sang his singles 2014's "Summer" and 2016's "My Way" as vocals.
Back in April, Calvin Harris appeared on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show, where he revealed that he collaborated with Benny Blanco.
Calvin Harris told Zane Lowe, “I had [record producer] Benny Blanco around the other day and he said I want to do a record together. He said you must have loads of things, I want some of them where you’re singing. I was like, come on. He made me go through everything I rejected with me singing on it. He was like what about that, what about that?…It was 100% pain and embarrassment. And then, in the end he picked something that he insisted was really good. And I said honestly I cannot listen to this mate. And now he’s got it, so we’ll see what happens.”
While, Benny Blanco announced their collaboration official in an Instagram on October 22nd.
“i been a fan of calvin since 2007… i was always attracted to how much soul and musicality he brought to the table… he also has one of my favorite recorded voices ever.. even tho he thinks it sounds like shit… i love it!!! so when we decided to put out a song together… i would beg him to sing on it everyday and just kept annoying him until he finally wore down and just sang it…”- source : Idolator
