Stromae Premieres New Music Video for “Défiler”
Belgian singer-songwriter Paul Van Haver, aka Stromae released a new song “Défiler” for the first time in five years on April 26. On the same day, an accompanying music video was premiered online. Directed by Luc Junior Tam and Sacha Wiernik.
In the video, he debuted the song during a fashion show displaying its collection "Capsule No. 5" at Paris department store Le Bon Marche.
The song is a modern electro-R&B and written by Stromae and Junior Tam.
He is better known for performance with Kanye West at the 2015 Coachella Festival, and collaboration with Lorde, Haim, Pusha T and Q Tip on "Meltdown," which is from the soundtrack 2014's "The Hunger Games; Mockingjay, Part 1".
He debuted with his first album "Cheese". His second album "Racine Carrée" was released in 2013, which topped the charts in France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Italy, as well as reaching the top ten in Canada, and the top forty in Germany.-
