Sigrid Premiers New Music Video for “Mine Right Now”
Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid has dropped a new music video for “Mine Right Now”. But she couldn't make it to the actual video shoot because of delayed flights. So, director Max Siedentopf appeared on the clip instead of her.
She said, "The mine right now video is out!!! HAAHA we tried to make the best out of a crazy situation. Thanks to the incredible team behind at all. Hahaha it’s mad, you gotta watch it."
“After a month of planning the ‘Mine Right Now’ video with Sigrid and spending a week in the Bulgarian mountains building wonderful sets, the shoot quickly turned into the FYRE Festival of music videos,” Max Siedentopf explained. “The night before the video shoot we were told that Sigrid’s flights had been delayed and then cancelled, meaning she wouldn’t make it to the remote location in time. But our crew of over 40 people were all set to shoot a video, so despite the unfortunate news, we decided to still shoot something, as we had spent the week building wonderful sets.”- “Mine Right Now” is included on her debut album "Sucker Punch", which was released back in March. "This track is inspired by ’80s music. I don’t know who, I just wanted it to be big! I was definitely imagining playing this at a huge festival on a big stage. I want people to be joyful and happy when they leave the show." she said.
