Tessa Violet Shares New Song “Games”
Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Tessa Violet, formerly Meekakitty, has released a new song “Games” from her upcoming sophomore album “Bad Ideas”.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jade Ehlers.
She played the song live for the first time during an Instagram live stream in October 2018.
Tessa Violet said of the song, “A friend one told me that madness is bouncing back and forth between the reality you feel in your gut and the story someone is telling you. Games is about the frustration and madness of trying to get the truth out of someone while they boldly tell you nothing's wrong at all.”
The debut album consists of three EP’s, separated into Acts I, II and III. The album was originally planned for release in June or July of 2018.
But it will be released at the end of October this year.
Last December, she told about the album in an interview with Dailycal. “Right now the plan is to release the album one song at a time,” said Violet. “It was really important to me, if we were going to do this release plan to do them in the order that they’re on the album because I feel it’s a story that’s being told.”- source : The Fader
