DJ Snake Premieres New Song “Taki Taki” featuring Selena Gomez, Cardi B & Ozuna
French producer DJ Snake has teamed up with American singer-songwriter Selena Gomez, American rapper Cardi B and Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Ozuna.
The four-piece collaborator unveiled a new song “Taki Taki” on September 28th.
In late August of 2018, DJ Snake announced via his social media platforms that he would release a new song later that year.
The song was written by Bava, Juan Vasquez, Vicente Saavedra, Jordan Thorpe, DJ Snake, Ozuna, Cardi B and Selena Gomez. Produced by DJ Snake.
They have already filmed a new music video for the song, which will be premiered shortly.
DJ Snake said:
“I wanted to make a reggaeton club-like hit. So I sent it to Ozuna, and he crushed it. But I want to have more females in the record, spanish speaking females, so I’ve found two queens, Cardi and Selena. Selena Gomez said:
“'Taki Taki' is a great song, the music video is so fun… I mean you’re with DJ Snake, Ozuna, Cardi, it’s like everybody’s there and is so funny like, isn’t that a funny group? I love them. It was so fun.”
Ozuna said:
“It’s like different, something that I wasn’t expecting. Snake sent me the rhythm and told me that he needed to make a reggaeton track, and I said “Let’s do it!”, but I wasn’t counting on two women on a Reggaeton track… It was a surprise, he said to me “you got Cardi” and another surprise, and it was Selena… and I was like, wow, wow.”- source : Idolator
