Axl Rose Releases His First New Song “Rock the Rock” in 10 Years in New Looney Tunes
American hard rock band Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose released a new song “Rock the Rock” for the first time in a decade.
The song will appear in an upcoming episode of the Boomerang animated series “New Looney Tunes”. The episode is titled “Armageddon Outta Here, Part Two”, where he played himself as a character.
He did not write the song, which was written by Rob Janas and Joshua Funk.
Guns N’ Roses concluded their two-year Not in This Lifetime Tour on December 8th. But the band has not released a new album since 2008's "Chinese Democracy".
The band guitarist Richard Fortus confirmed the band was working on the new album in a 2018 interview, stating "I think it will happen faster than you think. We’re going to try and do another record and get it out soon."- source : Rolling Stone
