  • Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato & Jennifer Hudson Perform at the March For Our Lives in Washington, D.C

  • On March 25th, 200,000 attended a rally as the March for Our Lives in Washington D.C., calling for the implementation of tighter measures following the deadly mass shooting at a Florida school in February. Hundreds of rallies were staged with two million marching across the United States.


    It was the largest student protest in American history, one of the largest marches on Washington in history, and the second largest march in American history.
    Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson performed live during the concert portion of the event.
    Also, Douglas High School student Emma Gonzalez's moving speech that included a nearly six-minute moment of silence that represented the length of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

    "This is for those brilliant students here today that are leading this march and for everybody participating today. Thank you so much for fighting for change and for love and safety and for our future," Grande told the crowd of thousands at the rally.
    She also previously hosted the One Manchester concert in the weeks after her show in the British city was the target of a terrorist attack that killed 23 people on May 22nd, 2017.
    Ariana Grande performed “Be Alright”, Miley Cyrus performed “The Climb”, Demi Lovato performed “Skyscraper” and Jennifer Hudson performed a cover of Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A Changin'”.
