American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars dropped a new music video for "Finesse" remix version. He collaborated with American rapper Cardi B on the video and directed it by himself.
The song is taken from his third album "24K Magic", which was released in November 2016. The track was written by Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence, Christopher Brody Brown, James Fauntleroy, Johnathan Yip, Ray Romulu, Jeremy Reeves and Ray McCullough II.
Remix version was released on January 4, 2018.
The song was performed live for the first time in the Apollo Theater alongside the rest of 24K Magic for his CBS Primetime Special titled "Bruno Mars: 24K Magic Live at the Apollo" in November 2017.
Before releasing the video, he tweeted that the video was dedicated to one of his favorite TV shows, and then thanked Keenen Ivory Wayans.
He told Rolling Stone, "Finesse" was one of several songs he tinkered with to get the sound to his liking before the album release. The song went through some 20 versions before he was satisfied with it.
Bruno Mars has currently toured "24K Magic World Tour" since March 2017 through July 2018. The tour takes in Europe, North America, Latin America, Oceania and Asia,with a total of 173 shows.
