LÉON Drops Acoustic Live Video for “Falling Apart”
- Swedish singer-songwriter LÉON dropped a new acoustic live video for “Falling Apart” featuring piano player Jonatan Larson.
This performance is the second video following “Die For You”, which premiered earlier this month.
The video was filmed at Atlantis studios in Stockholm and directed by Ted Malmos.
The song is included on her sophomore album “Apart”. It was written by Martin Stilling and LÉON.
The album was released last October, featuring 11-track.
LÉON said of the song in an interview with 1883 magazine last year, “'Falling Apart' is actually one of the oldest songs on the record. The majority of the songs on the album were written this year or late last year. 'Falling Apart' is a song I really love, I always wanted to put it out. It resonated with me because it represented what I was going through earlier this year and at the end of last year. I went back to that song over and over; I started writing it back in 2018 and it was this year that I finished it. It just felt like the right time to put it out. It's one of the most honest songs on the album. Sometimes it's hard to explain where a song comes from—I always know where it comes from of course, but explaining it to other people is difficult! I would describe it as a turning point. Before I wrote that song, I always wrote from the perspective of being some kind of victim. This one was more about my own doubts because I was in a place last year where I was questioning all kinds of things in my relationship. It still is a love song that focuses on a relationship, but it's a lot about my own self, my feelings, and trying to figure myself out at that time. It's hard to explain but I hope you understand!”
