Namasenda Releases New Song “Banana Clip” featuring Mowalola
Swedish singer-songwriter Namasenda teamed up with London-based fashion designer Mowalola to release a new song “Banana Clip”.
The song follows up “Demonic” featuring La Zowi, which was released back in July.
This marks the first collaboration between Namasenda and Mowalola.
Namasenda told DAZED, “We had been DMing a bit and then I asked Mowalola to be on the song because I thought it would really fit her energy. First time we met was at the cover shoot for the song.”
The track was written by Naomi Namasenda, Dennis Solander Sule, Peter Hjerpe and Mowalola Ogunlesi. Produced by Yemi and A. G. Cook.
Namasenda said of the song, “Banana Clip is my hype song and the exact mood I want to be in: Not Boring. Mowalola falls perfectly into that category, so I asked her to be part of the song”.- source : Spotify
