Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Logic Premieres New Short Film for “Everyday” featuring Marshmello
American rapper Logic unveiled a new 10-minute short film for "Everyday" and "Warm It Up, directed by Alan Ferguson.
Both tracks are included on a new mixtape "Bobby Tarantino II", which was released on March 9, 2018.
"Everyday" features American EDM producer Marshmello, written by Marshmello and Logic. "Warm It Up" was written by Tee-WaTT, Nas, 6ix, Ronnie James Wilson, Oliver Scott, Anthony Cruz and Logic.
In the video, Logic plays an overworked office lackey whose life drifts by in a never-ending flurry of paperwork. Marshmello plays his coworker in his daydream.
The 10-minute clip, which Logic co-wrote with Ferguson, also pulls inspiration from 1999’s Office Space. “Everyday” borrows many thematic and visual elements from the Ron Livingston-starring film, including a classic technology destruction scene.
Also, the video is similar to some videos the likes of Macklemore's "Corner Store" (2017), Foo Fighters' "Run" (2017), Max's "Lights Down Low" (2016) and Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" (2011).
Logic is heading on tour “The Bobby Tarantino vs. Everybody Tour,” which kicks off at Xfinity Center in Mansfield on June 8, 2018.
