  • Opāru Premieres New Song “The Deep End”

  • Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Dianna St. Hilaire, aka Opāru has delivered a new song "The Deep End" following her debut song "Remember Me". She dropped a lyric video for it, directed by Matt Champagne, on August 21. The video was premiered exclusively on HuffPost.

    The song was produced by Josh Stevens. The track is a love song to her beloved and admires the strengths and the flaws in a relationship, but most importantly it focuses on the depth of what most humans attempt to attain in their lifetime.

    About the new song, Dianna St. Hilaire said;
    “The Deep End is about a unique equality between two people on an emotional and physical level. Our survivability paired with our own hopes and dreams and how we can make them a reality for each other by helping one another to change the world”.

  • She started her music career punk bands and for producers as a backup studio vocalist when she was her late teens.
    In 2015, she launched her new project Opāru, deriving from the Japanese name of the birthstone opal. Opāru’s roots stem from experimental electronic, 80s synth pop, and alternative rock. "The music represents pure animalistic human emotion. It epitomizes what it is like to be human by transcending the human experience with self discovery and acceptance of who we are on an emotional level,” she explained about Opāru.
    In 2016, she released the debut song "Remember Me".
