Florence Arman Releases New Song “Friends”
British singer-songwriter Florence Arman has released a new song “Friends” along with a visualizer.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming second EP, following “Stupid Heart” released back in July.
It was written by Florence Arman with production by Sebastian Arman and Matthias Oldofredi.
Florence Arman said of the song, “After dating a series of guys with varying disastrous outcomes, I fell in love with a woman. It really caught me off guard because that had never happened before and writing this song was a part of admitting and confronting this new feeling.”
She explained of the video, “The original idea I had for the 'friends' video was that I would be at home drinking a bottle of wine and finally mustering up the courage to tell the girl I like how I feel. So in careful preparation I bought a bottle of wine and Florian Moshammer and I started shooting. I didn't quite think about the consequences of this idea, meaning that I would drink a whole bottle of wine in about 15 minutes. Anyway I got incredibly drunk and we decided to scrap that footage, but the texting part remained, and we decided to keep that as a little visualizer.”- The new 6-track EP is expected to be released in Spring 2023.
SHe said of the EP, “Exactly one year ago i released my first EP!!! So much has happened since then and it feels like 3 years, but as chance would have it, i just finished my second EP! Life took some unexpected turns, so this took a little longer than anticipated, but I'm really excited to show you! mahoosive shoutout to my manager Elias Ezekiel Oldofredi who is the reason I'm able to do all of this in the first place and to everyone who's been a part of this 😭❤️” -
