Robyn Premieres New Music Video for “Honey”
- Earlier this week, Swedish singer-songwriter Robyn appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where she performed demo version of “Honey”.
On December 6th, she dropped a new music video for the song, directed by Max Vitali, who also helmed her “Be Mine,” “Call Your Girlfriend,” and “Dancing On My Own,” among others.
In the clip, Robyn and a room full of people are dancing in a dark, emotionally charged space.
She wrote on Facebook, “The video for Honey is live! Its directed by Max Vitali and produced by Academy Films. I want to say thank you to all of you who came from near and far and danced with me. This video is for you and everyone who found a piece of heaven on the dancefloor.
I also want to thank Hannah TW, George Smith, Ella Girardot and Medb Riordan for the support and dedication. DOP Mathieu Plainfosse for eyes and heart. Decida for your compass and feeling. Jefta van Dinther and Thiago Granato for the expertise. Tamara Rothstein for the sexy get up. And Kei Terada and Thom Walker for making me feel so good.”
- The song “Honey” appeared on her eighth studio album of the same title. The album is her first LP since 2010's "Body Talk".
Robyn launches a new capsule collection with Swedish brand Björn Borg next spring.
