Travis Barker x Lil Wayne x Einer Bankz Share New Acoustic Music Video for “Gimme Brain”
American rock band Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker teamed up with American rappers Lil Wayne and Rick Ross to release “Gimme Brain” on December 13th.
Produced by Travis Barker, who launched his own label DTA Records, and the song is his first release via the his label.
On December 23rd, Travis Barker and Lil Wayne added San Francisco-based ukulele player Einer Bankz to share an acoustic music video for the song. But unfortunately, the clip does not feature Rick Ross. Directed by Andrew Sandler, who shot the film in one take.
“The beat/song has been around for a while now,” Travis Barker told Rolling about the song. “I made this beat and Wayne was the first person I called almost six years ago. I’ve known Wayne and Ross both for over a decade and I consider them family.”
