Leon Bridges Premieres New Music Video for “Bad Bad News”
Fort Worth-based gospel and soul singer Leon Bridges released two new songs “Bad Bad News” and “Bet Ain’t Worth The Hand” a couple weeks ago from his upcoming second studio album "Good Thing".
Two songs were premiered for the first time during on Apple Beats 1 with Zane Lowe.
On March 26th, he dropped a new music video for “Bad Bad News”, directed by Natalie Rae, starring Paloma Elsesser. It's all filtered through some seriously erratic and intense dance moves by Paloma Elsesser.
The new album "Good Thing" comprises of 10-track and set to be released May 4, 2018.
Leon Bridges said of the album, "I'm a soul artist, but I like to incorporate country music — I'm talking about the 'good' country. You don't see revival people doing that. There's the Daptone (soul label) thing, which is beautiful and great, but I want to do something different."- “Bad Bad News” was written by Wayne Hector, Todd Michael Bridges, Nate Mercereau, Joshua Block, Eric Frederic and Austin Michael Jenkins.
“Bet Ain’t Worth The Hand” was written by Wayne Hector, Todd Michael Bridges, Steve Wyreman, Nate Mercereau, Joshua Block, Eric Frederic, Curtis Mayfield and Austin Michael Jenkins.
He embarks Good Thing Tour in support of the album at The Pavilion at Irving Music Factory on June 9th. The tour will conclude at Radio City Music Hall in New York on October 5th.
