  • Lena Hall Premieres New Music Videos for “Origin of Love” and “Tear Me Down”
  • Tony Award winner and singer-songwriter Lena Hall premiered the music videos for “Origin of Love” and “Tear Me Down”, directed by James Eades.
    She performed the songs with Justin Craig (guitar) and Matt Duncan (bass) in the video. The songs are included on her new EP "OBSESSED: Hedwig", which features another 4 songs "Sugar Daddy", "Wicked Little Town", "The Long Grift" and "Midnight Radio", and was released on January 4, 2018. Also she is releasing a series of EPs every month in 2018.
    6 tracks are from a rock musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", which was written by John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask about a fictional rock and roll band fronted by a genderqueer East German singer, Hedwig Robinson.
    She won Tony Award for her powerful performance as Titzhak in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" in 2014 and received a nomination for Best Musical Theater Album at Grammy Award in 2015.

    She told Rolling Stone about monthly releasing EPs;
    "I went for the artists I have always loved and admired. Of course, Hedwig changed my life so there was no doubt that I would feature that, but many of the artists have affected my life ina positive way. Some from my childhood and others more recently."
