Tove Lo Releases New Album “Sunshine Kitty”: Streaming
Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo released her fourth studio album “Sunshine Kitty” on September 20th. It is her first LP in two years following “Blue Lips”.
“I was definitely going through some shit on Lady Wood and Blue Lips. I was working through it for everyone to watch, but that’s just how I deal with everything,” Tove Lo told Billboard about previous albums. “This album is written from a calmer place so, naturally, it’s me looking out instead of looking in.”
The album features guest appearances from Alma, MC Zaac, Jax Jones, Doja Cat and Kylie Minogue.
She recorded it in Los Angeles and Sweden. The album title is inspired from cartoon, "It ties in with the lynx. This cartoon cat (featured on the artwork) is an extension of me and part of the new music. She’s super cute, but she does stupid shit like getting in fights and getting fucked up. On the same day of the album release, she dropped a new music video for “Sweettalk my Heart” directed by Bradley & Pablo.
The song was released a couple of days ago as the promotional single from the album.
She said, “I finally got to make a video with my genius friends Bradley & Pablo. I love love love this video and I hope you do too babes. I’m still covered in bruises from the shoot which is kinda mandatory at this point :) Now watch me twirl around in frustration trying to find a way to show the person I love how much I want them when I can’t feel them.”
