  • Norah Jones Performs “What Would I Do Without You” on ACL Hall of Fame New Year's Special

  • American singer-songwriter Norah Jones appeared on ACL Hall of Fame New Year's Special, where she covered Ray Charles' “What Would I Do Without You”.

The performance was part of ACL’s Fifth Annual Hall of Fame New Year’s Special, which this year paid tribute to Ray Charles, Marcia Ball, and Los Lobos. Hosted by Chris Isaak.
The episode was recorded on October 25 at Austin's Moody Theater and aired on PBS on December 31, 2018.
Before the performance, she said, "It’s my honor to be here. This is one of my favorite Ray Charles songs."
“What Would I Do Without You” is included on Ray Charles' third studio album "Yes Indeed!", which was released in 1958 via Atlantic Records.
The album was the second of three Atlantic LPs that compiled Charles' hit singles for the label.
In addition to Norah Jones, Los Lobos performed "La Bamba" along with Boz Scaggs, Robert Randolph, Robert Rodriguez and more.
