Lauv Premieres New Song “Chasing Fire”
American singer-songwriter Ari Staprans Leff, aka Lauv debuted a new song “Chasing Fire” via streaming music services.
The song serves as the follow up single to his smash hit "I Like Me Better", which has surpassed 500 million streams.
It's all tactile synths and wonderfully lucid melodies, combined with a killer chorus.
23-year-old singer explained of the song, "It's basically about doing certain things in a relationship where deep down, you know that it will be over soon. You're trying to push back on your own side and chase how the relationship felt when you first fell in love."-
- Ari Staprans Leff debuted with an EP "Lost in the Light" as Lauv in 2015. Originally, he started music career under the his real name.
From the debut EP, "I Like Me Better" was released in 2017, which became Gold disc on RIAA and 3 times Platinum disc on ARIA.
He has currently toured since January in North America and Europe through to August.
