Kehlani Drops New Song “Everybody Business”
American singer-songwriter Kehlani worked with Pharrell Williams, JAY-Z and Chad Hugo for a new song “Everybody Business”.
The song was released on April 16th and is the first self-produced effort from Kehlani as she created the instrumental.
The accompanying music video was directed by Hyphy Williams, who is her alias. She made directorial debut on previous song “Toxic”.
Kehlani wrote about the song on Instagram, “i remember saying the first line and all of us knowing it was going to be one of the ones. the way we all laughed, got silent, nodded our heads, walked around in circles. when i was nervous to sing the hook out loud because i didn’t know if they would think i was hilarious for flipping Pharrells “Frontin” in a guitar ballad. all the walking around and shutting doors that we kept in the beginning of the record for the “ambiance”. will never forget it. we all became family that week in Vegas. love and miss all of you at the camp if you’re reading this.”
She was supposed to hit the road with Justin Bieber on his “Changes Tour” in May, but the tour has been put on hold.- source : Rolling Stone
