Julia Michaels Releases New EP “Inner Monologue Part 2”: Streaming
American singer-songwriter Julia Michaels released her third EP “Inner Monologue Part 2” on June 28, 2019.
The EP follows “Inner Monologue Part 1”, which was released back in January and comprises of 8-track, featuring Role Model.
“Some songs came after being heartbroken, some came when I was in love with somebody,” she explains to Billboard. “Some came when I was in a dark place, just with myself.”
She continues, “Lyrically, I tried to just be purely, authentically me -- four songs were written by myself, which is the most songs written by myself on a release that I’ve done, which is pretty scary. … There’s nothing scarier than putting out a song that’s close to your heart and people not liking it, because it’s almost like they’re saying that they don’t like a part of you. That’s super scary. But this is why I do what I do.”
On the same day of the release the EP, she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform "Hurt Again" from the EP.
Also, the 25-year-old siger already start to write the songs for the next EP “Inner Monologue Part 3”.- XUVuJpZDvGw
