Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Feng Suave Releases New Song “Unweaving The Rainbow Forever”
Amsterdam based alt-pop duo Feng Suave, consisting of Daniël Schoemaker and Daniël de Jong, will their upcoming third EP “So Much For Gardening” on August 27, 2021.
From the EP, the duo released a new song “Unweaving The Rainbow Forever” along with a music video on July 23.
It was written by Daniël Schoemaker and Daniël de Jong. The video was directed by Bob Sizoo.
Feng Suave said of the song, “The verses reference animal imprisonment, climate change, nuclear winter as well as human superstition and include a nod to the famous environmentalist David Attenborough and Jane Goodall. It's kind of a children's song about humanity's self-annihilation. It will be the first song in the Feng Suave catalogue that features a glockenspiel and a live string ensemble.”
The new EP comprises of 4-track, which avoid one single collective mood or narrative, and instead each take on a theme of their own.
The duo recorded the EP in analogue to tape at Helmbreker Studios in Haarlem with engineer Jasper Geluk.- source : Spotify
