HONNE Covers Louis Armstrong's “What A Wonderful World”
London-based electro-pop duo HONNE released a cover of Louis Armstrong's “What A Wonderful World”.
The original version of the song was released by American trumpeter Louis Armstrong in 1967 via ABC Records.
The track was written by George David Weiss and Robert Thiele.
The song reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart, but wasn't ranked in the chart in the US. Because, at that time, Larry Newton, the president of ABC Records, disliked the song and refused to promote it.
Louis Armstrong's recording was inducted in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999.
For HONNE, this song is their second single of 2021, following “WHAT WOULD YOU DO?” featuring Pink Sweat$.
Produced by HONNE, and Tobie Tripp played the violin.- source : Spotify
