Los Angeles-based DJ Marc Kinchen, aka MK has dropped a new music video for “Chemical”.
The video was directed by Aube Perrie, starring Jamel Elgharbi, Thea Carla Schøtt and Pauline Vernet.
The song was released back in May as the second single of 2021, following “Lies” featuring Raphaella.
It was written by MK, Mike Di Scala, Dave Whelan and Kyle Miller. Produced by MK and CamelPhat.
Kyle Miller joined in the track as guest vocals.
The video is the story of an anthropomorphic dog called D.
“I wanted to come with a sad comedy that would also be a funny drama. Picturing D like a tender loser, a gentle harmless big boy, kinda doomed to be unfaithful in his thoughts, no matter how much cheating is against his nature,” director Aube Perrie explained. “Though D was an anthropomorphic character, I absolutely needed to get the most realistic-looking dog as possible, so there was this need to avoid anything too cartoonistic or creaturish.”- source : Creative Review
