London based singer-songwriter Georgia Twinn released a new song “Matty Healy” on April 16, 2021.
The song was inspired by a previous relationship where her boyfriend bore an uncanny resemblance to The 1975 frontman Matty Healy. The track follows up her debut EP “Talk”, which was released back in March.
It was written by Sophia Brenan, Shaun Canning, Julie Knox, Georgia Twinn and George Reid. Produced by LOVE SICK.
“I was inspired by quite a negative person in my life,” Georgia Twinn said in a press release. “who I was in 'love' with and they'd always say they looked better than Matty Healy and I was like 'no!!!' because I wasn't going to let anyone ruin Matty or The 1975 for me when they'd eventually break my heart lol. And that's exactly what happened. This is one of a few break-up bangers I have on the way”.
She shared on social media, “I'm back with another one. Here's matty healy, another song I wrote about a boy hahaha. This was such a fun one to write so I hope you like it :) love you all! G 😼”- source : Spotify
