Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ AM Dandy & the Elements Releases New Song “Jungle Out There” featuring Stif Lo
Los Angeles-based cinematic rock fusion project AM Dandy & the Elements will release their fully-instrumental album “Oracle” on March 16, 2021.
From the album, the band dropped a new song “Jungle Out There” on February 19, 2021, following “Racing With The Wind” released back in January.
The band teamed up with American drummer Stif Lo on the track.
Lead guitarist Alessandro Meynardi said of the song, “Jungle Out There was inspired by TV shows from the 90's and early 2000's, including 'Monk' starring a great Tony Shalhoub. I imagined him, in the middle of Hollywood, obsessively scared by germs.”
Alessandro Meynardi's guitar is reminiscent of Joe Satriani.
AM Dandy & the Elements formed in Boston in 2018, at Berklee College of Music where primary songwriter/guitar, Alessandro Meynardi, aka AM Dandy met the other two main characters of the group: Euan Leslie (drums) and Jack Schwenke (bass). Born as AM Dandy Group, or just AM Dandy, it transformed into AM Dandy & the Elements in late 2019, right before the recording sessions of the second studio album, adding Riccardo Gresino and Jason Park on keyboards.
