The Weeknd Performs at Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show
Super Bowl LV took place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on February 7, 2021.
On The game, the National Football Conference champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the American Football Conference champion Kansas City Chiefs, 31–9.
This year, Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd appeared on the halftime show.
Also Country music singer Eric Church and R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan performed the national anthem. And American singer-songwriter H.E.R. sang “America the Beautiful”.
“We all grow up watching the world's biggest acts playing the Super Bowl and one can only dream of being in that position. I'm humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage this year,” The Weeknd said.
He performed 9 songs including “Call Out My Name”, “Starboy”, “The Hills”, “Can't Feel My Face”, “I Feel It Coming”, “Save Your Tears”, “Earned It”, “House of Balloons/Glass Table Girls”.
