Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ The Ones You Forgot Releases New Song “Desensitized”
New Jersey-based pop/rock band The Ones You Forgot, consisting of Jenna Bruno (Vocals), Matthew Thompson (Guitar), Ferdinand Benauro (Guitar), Justin Rodman (Drums) and Lance Nelson (Bass), unveiled their first single of 2021 entitled “Desensitized” along with a music video on February 5, 2021.
The track follows up “Something For Me”, which was released last July for the first time in two years. It was written by Jenna Bruno and Ferdinand Benauro.
The music video was directed by Eric DiCarlo.
Frontwoman Jenna Bruno said of the song, “Songwriting is very cathartic. It’s a great release of emotions, especially for the ones that we often bottle up. When I wrote ‘Desensitized’ I found myself in that place of pretending to be okay when I knew for a fact that I wasn’t. Writing this song took a weight off my shoulders and allowed me to accept how I was feeling and address the state of my mental health.”- source : Spotify
