Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Calica teamed up with Chicago native producer Daniel Loumpouridis to release a new EP “Lens” on January 22, 2021.
The EP comprises of 6-track, including preceding singles “Savior” and “Better”.
Also, they dropped a new single "Don't" on the same day of releasing the EP. The song features futuristic synths, driving basslines and infectious melodies.
Daniel Loumpouridis said of the song, “"Don't" is about finally drawing boundaries - being able to draw a line in the sand both for you and for someone else."
Calica added, “This song is about creating something that is healthy for you regardless of what the other person is trying to get you to do.”
The pair wrote a few songs before quarantine and created the EP in 2020. This marks the first time they have worked together.
