New York-based singer-songwriter Kéren released her new EP “In Form” on November 20, 2020.
The basics of the EP was recorded at Dreamland Studios, a mystical converted church in the Catskill mountains of New York.
The EP comprises of 6-track, featuring gentle ambient pop ballad, upbeat indie pop, emotional cinematic pop and gentle acoustic sound.
“Over the time this album was written, I was in a process that some would call an 'awakening,'” Kéren said of the EP. “I began to see my facades and masks of personality, the caricature I'd created for myself, my defense mechanisms and patterns, and went into deep inquiry of Self. I began my healing journey. This required some deep shedding as parts of myself were transforming.”
Kéren grew up in a multi-cultural environment influenced by both Western and Eastern music. After studying at the Berklee College of Music, Kéren moved to the West Coast and recorded her debut EP, Bliss Point with her band, Jungle Fires.
Also, Kéren is known as Kéren-or Tayar, who released 3 singles, “Agua De Estrellas”, “Ayahuasca Takimuyki” and “El Viaje”, along with Michael Hewett back in April.- source : Pop Dust
