Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ BENEE Teams Up With Lily Allen & Flo Milli for New Song “Plain”
New Zealand alt-pop singer-songwriter BENEE teamed up with British singer-songwriter Lily Allen and American rapper Flo Milli to release a new song “Plain”.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming debut album “Hey U X”, following “Night Garden” featuring Kenny Beats and Bakar, and “Snail”.
It was written by BENEE, Jenna Andrews, Josh Fountain, Djeisan Suskov, Lily Allen and Flo Milli.
“I wanted to make it a song someone could listen to when they find out their ex is with someone new,” BENEE explains in the press release. “The feeling sucks, so I wanted 'Plain' to make ya feel like you have the upper hand. Lily and Flo Milli both have such cool sass, and both their verses really elevated the track.”
The debut album is set to be released November 13, 2020 vi Republic Records. The album contains 13-track, featuring guest appearances from Grimes, Gus Dapperton, Lily Allen, Flo Milli, Mallrat, Kenny Beat, Bakar and Muroki.
