Bishop Briggs Drops New Music Video for “HIGHER”
- Los Angeles-based British singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs has dropped a new music video for “HIGHER”.
The clip features Bishop Briggs is running on the road beside beach with singing. Also, the video was shot early in the morning in California.
The song was released earlier this month. It is her first single since her 2019 sophomore album “Champion”. It was written by Bishop Briggs, John Newman and Jonny Coffer. Produced by Joel Little and Jonny Coffer.
Also, the track is include on the video game “NHL 21” soundtrack.
She performed the song on The Late Late Show with James Corden on October 7th. This marks the first time she has performed the song on TV.
“I wanted to be the person who had learned all their lessons and was ready to move on, but I wasn't there yet. Not even close," Bishop Briggs said of the song. "I started imagining myself racing down the street high-fiving whoever I could -- spreading joy so much that I became joy. I then imagined myself feeling a lightness in my thoughts where I could negate even the most intrusive thoughts just by telling them to leave me be. I imagined this person because I desperately wanted to be this person. I hope you feel a relief when you listen to 'Higher' because just by listening to it, you are manifesting a new existence in which you are the joy.”
