Kamma Shares Two Songs “Yet Another Girl” & “Live to Forget”
- Copenhagen-based singer-songwriter Signe Rønsov, aka Kamma debuted with her first single “Yet Another Girl” last November.
The music video was released in December, which was filmed in the Elias Church in Copenhagen.
Signe Rønsov said of the song, “Jealousy is a feeling that can grow to become big and shameful. But for a young woman demanding to have her needs, feelings and desire recognised the shame can feel a lot bigger. The shame connected with demanding a voice is a feeling that has followed me for a long time now. And I see a lot of young women struggling with even just recognising and making space for that.”
Following the debut song, she released the second single “Live to Forget” back in June. The track is an emotional ballad.
She shard on social media, “A song I wrote a couple of years ago, and one of the reasons I started writing music again…
'Live to Forget' is about loosing my mother. It's about watching her fade away, and about the fear of your closest relations being taken away from you. About feeling alone. The recording of the song took place on a dark, rainy evening back in February. I was lucky enough to have talented @mariamartinejagd and @antonlangebak with me, and myself on vocals and piano, just like when I first wrote it.”
