Australia-based singer-songwriter Nalini Tranquim returned with a new song “Your Love”. It is her first single in a year since “New Scars Heal”.
She wrote the song 15 years ago. The song is inspired from her life experiences as a young wife and mother whose faith helped her overcome tremendous challenges.
Nalini Tranquim explained about the song on her blog, “Hard to believe this song has taken 15 years to write, but it's true. What started out with the words “And I'm falling in love with you”, I knew was going to be a love song that would encapsulate an unending and undeniable kind of love. What I didn't know was that I would have to go through hell and back to experience this kind of love in such a tangible way, before being able to write of it.
It was only in the aftermath of a very dark season for my family and I, where I found myself battling depression and PTSD, that I finally finished the song.”
She continued, “My prayer for anyone that hears this song, 'Your Love', is that it will speak straight into the crevices of hearts that may still be clinging to traumas past. I believe the words will resonate and will bring some comfort knowing that we do not walk our journeys alone. ❤️”
