Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Jen Janet Shares New Song “Possession”
American alt-rock vocalist and songwriter Jen Janet released a new song “Possession” on June 8th along with a music video. The song follows up her band Novarium's “Virus” released last month and is her first single since her 2017 debut EP “Dangerous”.
It is a multimedia musical project as her solo artist. Inspired by her love of metal and heavier rock music. She has already recorded four songs including the new track.
“This song and video illustrates the idea of belonging to someone, but through the idea of demonic possession,” Jen Janet shares. “For example, you can “belong to” or be controlled by someone with more authority than yourself, and resent the person as a result.”
She continued, “That was originally what the song was written about, and I decided that a fun way to visually represent this was with a demonic possession. I’ve always been fascinated by the supernatural and I watch many horror movies, so this was a fun way to explore the horror genre through music and video.”- source : Broad Way World
