Rosalía Shares New Song “Dolerme”
- Spaniard singer-songwriter Rosalía has shared a new song “Dolerme”, which means “hurt me” in English.
The accompanying lyric video describes a person who is deeply depressed after being disappointed with the end of a relationship.
The track will appear on her upcoming third studio album or second EP.
In a statement, she referenced the ongoing coronavirus pandemic coinciding with the single’s release. “Many of us are in quarantine and many are giving their all outside the house. I’m in quarantine and have lost my sense of time. I decided that I wasn’t going to think about it too much and that instead I was going to put my energy and my heart into doing something for others, in my own way.”
Rosalía is better known for several collaborations with such artists as Travis Scott, Lil Baby, J Balvin, Pharrell Williams, and James Blake.
Back in January, she won Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards, making her the first Spanish female artist to ever perform at the gala. Also she performed at the 92nd Academy Awards this year.
