Bleachers Releases New Song “I'm not joking”
American rock band Bleachers, consisting of Jack Antonoff (lead vocals/guitar/bass/keyboards), Evan Smith (keyboards), Mikey Freedom Hart (guitar), Sean Hutchinson (drums), Mike Riddleberger (drums) and Zem Audu (keyboards/saxophone), released the fourth single called “i'm not joking” from their upcoming fifth studio album “everyone for ten minutes” on April 30, 2026.
This time, the full band wrote the song and the band frontman Jack Antonoff produced it.
The new song is about love at first sight.
Jack Antonoff said of the song, “i’m not joking it was love at first sight.”
The new album comprises 11 tracks and is set to be released on May 22, 2026 via Dirty Hit.
A press release described the new album as “Despite the moments where it briefly peers into darkness, it’s essentially an optimistic record that feels lovestruck and hopeful, leaping from harmony-laden folk rock to shimmering pop soul to the sax-assisted New Jersey sound that Bleachers have become synonymous for.”- Jack Antonoff said of the album, “I was finishing the last tour. I was reflecting a lot on myself and my surroundings. I was feeling really lucky and then really specific. Because, when you get some things you want, it doesn't necessarily calm you. It makes you want to, like, dig even deeper. It's a pretty clear narrative of where I come from and where I'm going, and who's on that journey with me. And it's the door is open, but it's not a casual one.”
Bleachers embarks on “Bleachers Forever 2026” tour, including the eighth edition of the band's own Shadow Of The City Festival. The tour kicks off at The Fillmore New Orleans in
New Orleans, LA on May 20, 2026 and will conclude at Eventim Apollo in London, United Kingdom on December 4, 2026.
