Foo Fighters Performs “Caught In the Echo” & “Child Actor” on Saturday Night Live UK
American rock band Foo Fighters, consisting of Dave Grohl (vocals/guitar), Pat Smear (guitar), Chris Shiflett (guitar), Nate Mendel (bass), Rami Jaffee (keyboards) and Ilan Rubin (drums), appeared on Saturday Night Live UK to perform “Caught In the Echo” and “Child Actor”.
This marks their debut on SNL UK as a musical guest, while the band has appeared on SNL in the US ten times, with their last appearance in 2023.
Both songs are featured on their twelfth studio album “Your Favorite Toy”, which was released on April 24, 2026 via Roswell Records and RCA Records. The new album is the first release featuring new drummer Ilan Rubin.
“Caught In the Echo” was released as the third single from the album last month.
Both songs were written by Foo Fighters and produced by Oliver Roman.- The band frontman Dave Grohl told Apple Music about the new album, “This is one of those records where the first side of the record is like a set list-just like bam, bam, bam, bam! The second side goes bam! and you get one little break and then it goes bam, bam, bam. They're raw, they're noisy, and they have these big choruses that I know people are going to bounce around and scream to. It's going to be fun.”
