Chloe Star Releases New Song “you say”
Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Chloe Star released a new song “you say” on April 24, 2026 via her own label Chloe Star Records
The song is the follow-up to “emergency contact”, which was released last month.
Thematically, the track highlights a toxic romantic dynamic where an individual's actions do not align with their words, causing turmoil, grief and confusion for their partner.
Set against driving, rock-leaning production, the track captures the moment when anger gives way to clarity.
As with the previous song, she co-wrote the song with producer JP Clark.
Chloe Star said of the song, “I wrote this for anyone who's ever been ghosted, left on read, or promised 'I'm on the way' by someone who never shows up.”
She added, “This Girl ghosted me and she never showed up for our date. So I wrote a song about it.”- Chloe Star will perform at The Grace in London on May 30 and The Viper Room in West Hollywood on June 5, 2026.
