maryjo Releases New Song “Stop Sign”

American singer-songwriter maryjo released a new song “Stop Sign” on April 24, 2026.
The song is her third single of 2026 as an independent artist, following “Love To Hate Me” and “No More Heart To Break”. She wrote three songs 4-5 years ago.
Sha has already filmed a music video for the song, which is coming soon.
It was written by maryjo, Kyle Patrick Kelso, and John Lardieri. Produced by Johnny Black, Kyle Patrick Kelso, and Michael John Shimshack.
The track features Johnny Black on piano and Kyle Patrick Kelso on background vocals.
maryjo said of the song, “I wrote stop sign about 4-5 years ago. It was my first relationship. It was probably one of the first, if not the first song I wrote about the break up. I remember being confused and alone but reminiscing on all the first memories we had, and just things in general that would have reminded me of him during that time. I came across this song years later, I remember writing it helped something in me grow and process the breakup and thought by releasing it maybe others would relate.”- She added, “Another song out that we wrote like 5 years ago!! “STOP SIGN” is out nowwww. I love this song so super much and I feel like a different person from when we wrote it. Hopefully it'll help you through your breaks ups.”
