Lukas Graham Returns With New Song “To Know A Girl”
Danish pop band Lukas Graham, consisting of Lukas Forchhammer (vocals) and Mark Falgren (drums), returned with a new song “To Know A Girl” on April 24, 2026.
The song is their first new music in a year, following the 2025 single “You You You”.
Also, the track will appear on their upcoming fifth studio album (yet untitled), which is expected to be released this summer.
“To Know A Girl” marks a return to the folk-driven storytelling and acoustic instrumentation that shaped the band frontman Lukas Forchhammer's earliest musical identity, informed by the Irish musical traditions that influenced his upbringing.
It was written by Bonnie Damond, Lukas Forchhammer, and Marty Maro. Produced by Zach Ess, Roger Kleinman, Don Stefano, and Marty Maro.
The track features Marty Maro on guitar and banjo, Bryan Sutton on guitar, Sam Grisman on bass, Zachary Seman on synthesizer, Tim O'Brien on mandolin, Phoebe Hunt on background vocals, and Lindsay Lou on background vocals.
The accompanying music video was directed by Rasmus Laursen.- Lukas Graham said of the song, “The sound of the song reminds me of coming all the way back home, reconnecting with the songwriting tradition and the instruments that formed the soundtrack of my childhood.”
Lukas Graham will support British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran North American Tour. The tour kicks off at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN on August 15, 2026 and will conclude at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL on November 7, 2026.
