venbee Releases New Song “Not My Day”
London-based singer-songwriter venbee released a new song “Not My Day” on March 27, 2026.
The song is the follow-up to “new body parts”, which was released last August.
It was written by Erin Doyle, Oscar Kenny, and Rudy Smith. Produced by Bypass Music.
The accompanying music video was directed by Dante' Richardson, who also directed her previous video for “new body parts”. Filmed by Joseph Heap.
venbee said of the song, “With this project I wanted to have fun and have music that felt a little less heavy but was still relatable. Not My Day is about a day that didn't quite go to plan. I wanted to make something out of completely normal, everyday life things.”- Director Dante' Richardson said of the video, “'Not My Day' by Venbee my 3rd music video on 16mm film. A dream come true to shoot on film so much beauty so much to learn wooooo!!! Thank you to EVERYONE! Something I really admire about Joe besides his hard work and natural talent is his belief that there’s always a way! Thank you Joe for being my partner on this one!”
Joseph Heap added, “First time shooting film, this was a real labour of love from Dante' Richardson and myself and I'm glad to say it came out beautifully. From the moment we got the film and put it into the camera I haven't been able to sleep but I'm super proud of not only myself for having the confidence to take that pressure on but for Dante's trust in me despite my lack of experience. I'm entirely grateful for everyone and all the love that went into making this possible. Big thanks to Ariz Arman for coming on last minute to help me light.” -
