Karen Nyame KG Announces New EP “Epiphany”, Shares Two New Songs “In My Room” & “Allure”
British-Ghanaian DJ Karen Nyame KG has announced their upcoming EP “Epiphany” will be released on May 29, 20276 via Black Acre.
The EP is their first project since the 2024 EP “Rhythm Vol.1” and comprises 5 tracks.
From the EP, they released two new songs “In My Room” and “Allure” on April 22, 2026.
Both songs were written and produced by Karen Nyame KG.
“In My Room” is drenched in bass-weight as driving percussion underpins KG's signature sensual vocals.
Karen Nyame KG said of “In My Room”, “This is a dark, alluring, bass-heavy club roller; I aimed to create something 'Fish Go Deep' - 'The Cure and The Cause', 'We Belong to The Night' by Suges coded. The repetitions are intentional; it's an earworm in the lyrics, the delivery, the production. Designed to really impact the dancefloor. Think of it as an ode to that gritty, future-facing UK funky sound, which appears to be resurging, paying homage to my roots as a music producer and what I was initially recognised for.”- “Allure” serves as a mystical pull for the ear and pays homage to Karen Nyame KG's deep reverence for Deep House.
They said of the song, “I aimed to create something timeless and classic that could transcend different eras. The production is deliberately sparse, minimal - I wanted each production element and my vocals to stand out without distraction. It's a mood, it's an energy; the hook is a hypnotic invite, and I can't wait to see the impact it will have on the dancefloor once released.” -
