  • Precious Pepala Releases New EP “Rosey”

  • British singer-songwriter Precious Pepala released her third EP “Rosey” along with a new music video for the title track directed by Jordan Rabjohn on April 16, 2026.

It is her first project since the 2025 EP “Dark Days”.
The EP comprises 5 tracks, produced by Jamie Biles, Jordan Rabjohn and Tom Longworth.
The record follows Rosey, a character who falls in love and ignores the red flags and warnings from her friends, as the story unfolds into a toxic relationship that ultimately ends in the death of both lovers.

Precious Pepala said of the EP, “Blinded by desire, Rosey ignores the red flags and warnings from her friends and wearing her favourite “tinted glasses” she dives head first into the ending they all saw coming. I've always wanted to write an EP which tells a continuous story and Rosey is the tale of a toxic relationship which ultimately ends in the death of both lovers (yes death.. what's the point if it's not dramatic?!)”

She continued, “I knew I wanted to write some songs about romance and love. I've grown up a bit, I've had relationships, I've been in love, I think, and I've experienced the good and bad parts of those things. In a world where social media, dating apps and the internet cause more toxicity, jealousy and friction than ever in relationships, I wanted to explore some of the more bleak realities of romance instead of writing a bunch of wishy washy love songs. Some people might hear the songs on this EP and think I'm crazy or toxic, which maybe I am, but I think if people are honest, they've either been like Rosey or had a friend like Rosey before... just without the fatal ending, hopefully!”
  • Precious Pepala explained some tracks for the EP.

    “Dream Cheater”
“This song is part 1 of my EP 'Rosey' which tells the story of two star crossed lovers stuck in a toxic love cycle. With the honeymoon period now over, Rosey starts to develop insecurities and trust issues. After dreaming of her lovers betrayal, she wakes consumed by jealousy and pain. She knows it was just a dream BUT SHE'S STILL FUMING!! I put so much into this body of work.”

    “Too Good To Die”
“The reconnection. Fuelled by lust, Rosey and her problematic ex-lover head out for a night of reminiscing and partying. Driving recklessly and unable to take his eyes off of her, he loses control of the wheel and their 'car crash' relationship shifts from metaphor to reality.”

  • 20-year-old Precious Pepala was born and raised in Sheffield with family roots in Zambia.
She creates trailblazing music, blending dark alternative pop with hints of soul and gospel, drawn from her years growing up in church as a pastor's daughter.

Precious Pepala said of her music, “When you don't find a way of getting negativity out, it comes out in negative ways. The only way for me to talk about my feelings was through music. Especially when I was questioning a lot of things about religion and dealing with years and years of pent up guilt because my parents love this thing so much and I don't. Writing music about it gave me a way to say to my parents 'I'm not like you'. Music put it into words for me. It was a way to open the door for those difficult conversations to happen.”
