PARTYOF2 Premieres New Song “2 NIGHTS IN LA” on BBC Radio 1

Los Angeles-based hip hop duo PARTYOF2, consisting of SWIM and Jadagrace, premiered a new song “2 NIGHTS IN LA” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is taken from the upcoming deluxe edition of their debut album “AMERIKA'S NEXT TOP PARTY!”, which is expected to be released in May 2026.
It was written by Tyson Coy Stewart, Jadagrace Gordy-Nash, and Kaedi Dalley. Produced by Oliver Cooper, Gustav Landell, Tyson Coy Stewart, Luca Mauti, Solomon Fox, and Simon Jonasson.
SWIM told Jack Saunders about the song, “This record feels like winning a championship. We released our last album, and this is the first single off the Deluxe. And we're so proud of the progress that we made. And this record feels like the victory lap. It's that scene in the Rocky movie where he's running up the steps and his fists are in the air. And that's the energy of this record. So anybody who's going through a transformation, or they're in a moment in their life where they feel like they hit a new breakthrough, that's what this record is for.”- Jadagrace continued, “I definitely think that it's important for hip hop artists to get vulnerable. I think sometimes we get caught up in like, what's gonna make a hit and what's gonna be the mash pit song or whatever. But all of our favorite artists, all the greats that we study, have those tracks in an album where it's just like, you have to be in a certain mood to listen to it. And you have to get to know them and their lyricism, their vulnerability. On the song, it sort of just like lets who they are and where they're at. And I think that's really important these days as an artist, to let people in.”

SWIM said of the album, “I had a friend of mine who is a fantastic rapper. His name is Radimus. Shout out to my guy, Radimus. But he recently had a child. And he was talking to me about that difference in having a kid and becoming a rapper. And I kind of asked how that changed his mindset. And one of the things he said that was so interesting to me was how every word he writes now he thinks about his daughter listening to it in 10, 15, 20 years. That's my favorite thing about music is being able to go back and listen to stuff and it feels like a time machine. And I'm right back where these people were. And so for us, it's all about being as honest as we can and reflecting the world that we see. And it's bigger than just now. The music will be here forever.”
