Madonna Releases New Song “I Feel So Free”

Last week, American singer-songwriter Madonna announced her upcoming fifteenth studio album “CONFESSIONS II” would be released on July 3, 2026 via Warner Records.
The album is a sequel to the 2005 album “Confessions On A Dancefloor”, and is her first full-length release in seven years, following the 2019 album “Madame X”.
The album comprises 16 tracks, which she recorded with British DJ Stuart Price again at his new studio in west London. Madonna and Stuart Price have worked together for “Confessions On A Dancefloor”.
From the album, she released the first single called “I Feel So Free” on April 18, 2026.
The song received its first play during LGBTQ+ station Pride Radio.
The track interpolates Lil Louis' 1989 Chicago house classic “French Kiss”.
It was written by Madonna, Stuart Price, and Marvin L Burns. Produced by Madonna and Stuart Price.
The track features Stuart Price on drums, keyboards, strings and bass, Arca on Keyboards, and Lil Louis on additional vocals.
Madonna appeared at Coachella 2026, performing a new song, “Bring Your Love”, as a surprise guest during Sabrina Carpenter's set.- Madonna said of the album, “When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto: We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we've been doing for thousands of years - they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It's a place where you connect -with your wounds, with your fragility.”
She continued, “To rave is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people. Sound, light, and vibration reshape our perceptions, pulling us into a trance-like state. The repetition of the bass, we don't just hear it but we feel it. Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time.”
She added, “People think that dance music is superficial, but they've got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it's a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.” -
