British singer-songwriter Sam Tompkins returned with a new song “BEAUTY QUEEN” on April 17, 2026.
The song is his first new music since the 2024 debut album “hi, my name is insecure.”.
It is a rhythmic, guitar-driven anthem and was written by Sam Tompkins, William James Watson, William Wormald, and William Hargreaves.

With the song, Sam Tompkins steps confidently into his next era, one rooted in reflection, growth, and a deeper sense of self.
Sam Tompkins said of the song, “It's inspired by my partner and the way I don't always feel like I measure up to her. There's a little bit of insecurity in there, but mostly it's about how grateful I am that I get to spend time with her.”- He continued, “In May of 2024 I came up with this melody and just knew instantly it was something different. It's been such a journey to get to this point. lots of ups and downs. frankly I needed the time to figure my stuff out both in music and outside of it to be honest - and it was the best thing I ever did. Love you guys - this is only the beginning.”
He added, “It's the start of an entirely new era of my music and more importantly, my life. I wrote this song in the hopes that one day someone would come up to me in the street and tell me that this soundtracked one of their happiest moments. I really just want people to feel happy when they hear this one.” -
