Lewis Capaldi Releases New Song “Stay Love”

Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi released a brand new song “Stay Love” on April 17, 2026.
The song was added as the fifth track to his the 2025 EP “Survive”, which was released last November.
He first performed the song in front of Damselfly Flowers shop at Penn Station before the sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden on April 16, 2026. The crowd swelled to well over 5,000 fans, turning the New York City landmark into a cavernous music hall.
The track was written by Lewis Capaldi, Michael Pollack, Stefan Johnson, and Jordan K. Johnson. Produced by The Monsters & Strangerz and Michael Pollack.
The track features Michael Pollack on piano and Aiden Halliday on keyboards.
Lewis Capaldi shared a teaser video on social media, “Hope you don't hate this song as much as I hated recording myself lip syncing it for this video.”- Early in his career, one of Lewis Capaldi's first U.S. headline shows took place at New York's Rockwood Music Hall - a venue that, like many independent spaces, has since closed its doors.
Lewis Capaldi invited the Rockwood staff and their families to Madison Square Garden to attend as guests last night, and made a donation to the National Independent Venue Association in recognition of the vital role such spaces play in developing artists. -
Executive Director of NIVA, Stephen Parker said, “NIVA is incredibly grateful to Lewis Capaldi for honoring the venue that helped launch his career and for recognizing the role independent stages play in every artist's journey. It's powerful to see an artist at this level acknowledge the small rooms where it all begins. At a time when many independent venues are struggling to profit and survive, this kind of leadership inspires the independent live entertainment industry to keep going.” - source : Apple Music
